The long, sunlit fondamenta on the south edge of Dorsoduro, facing the Giudecca canal. Wide enough to walk three abreast. Joggers, students, dog-walkers, gelato eaters from Nico's at the western end. The Punta della Dogana sits at the eastern tip. Walk the full length around 6 p.m. when the sun sets behind Giudecca's Redentore church. Sit at any of the floating café-pontoons for a Spritz with your feet over the water.
