A 165-metre man-made waterfall, Roman in origin, which Regione Umbria calls one of the highest in Europe; channelled by the consul Manius Curius Dentatus in 271 BC. The water is released on a published schedule (mornings and afternoons in season), so check the website. Walking trails run from short to multi-hour.
