Hala says
A Phoenician city, later Roman, on a peninsula above two beaches — temples, tombs, a still-standing forum, and one of the better places on the island to feel the layered Mediterranean history without a crowd. Pair it with the nearby Cabras civic archaeology museum, which has six of the Mont'e Prama giants (Nuragic 6.5-foot stone warriors discovered in 1974). A long lunch on Tharros's San Giovanni beach afterward.
