Stone villas and suites on the Stelida hilltop with private pools and the long view down to Agios Prokopios. A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Villas and suites on the hill above Stelida, looking back across the water at Naxos town and its castle, with private and semi-private pools and beaches close enough to walk to. Rooms run from the Premium and Grand Suites up to the Elegant and Luxury Villas. What separates it from the rest of the island is how much of the food is grown on the property: an organic garden of tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, strawberries and aromatic herbs, the hotel's own free-range hens, vineyards, and olive groves the owners date to 2,500 years old. Breakfast is built out of all of it, with omelettes from those eggs, savoury pies under hand-kneaded phyllo, and thick Greek yoghurt with organic honey. The wine cellar runs past 2,500 bottles and the whisky library past 1,000 labels, and the bar has been built with the mixologist Nikos Bakulis since 2017. A Small Luxury Hotels member, and it works better over a week than a weekend.
