At the end of a dirt track on the north coast: no asphalt, no power line from the road, no signage. Fokos beach is small, the taverna sits on the sand, and the only people there are the ones who knew to drive over. Order fish and salads and allow three hours for lunch. Cash is easier than card; there are no reservations.
