The UNESCO archaeological islet half an hour off Mykonos by ferry, ranked behind only the Acropolis among Greek antiquities sites, and the mythological birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Catch the 9 a.m. boat from Mykonos Old Port; the whole uninhabited island is the site (terraced houses, mosaic floors, the marble lions, an amphitheatre). Two and a half hours before the last boat back at 2 p.m. Closed Mondays.
