Argostoli, Kefalonia: the Patsi family bakery since 1890, now in its fourth generation. The famous mandoles (red candied almonds) are still made with the original post-WWII baking-pan method, and the tsoureki (Easter bread) is the textbook. Morning stop on the Robola wine drive.
