Cavo Tagoo Mykonos
Hala Vetted· been first-hand, cleared the bar
A cliffside Mykonos hotel above Mykonos Town: rooms, suites and villas, a long infinity pool with floating beds, and a DJ through the day.
Rooms, suites and villas cut into the hillside above Mykonos Town, climbing from a sea-view double through junior suites with outdoor hot tubs to three-bedroom villas, with cave pools set back into the rock in several categories. The Pool & Lounge is where the day happens: an infinity pool with floating beds, cocktails and DJ sets through the afternoon, which is the reason a good number of people book. Meraki is the hotel's own restaurant, Greek and Mediterranean and built around plates meant for sharing. The spa runs Thai massage among its treatments, there is a small gym beside it, and a hair and nails salon for the evenings out, which saves a trip into town. The concierge desk arranges yacht and helicopter charters, private dining and VIP transfers. This is the loud, glossy end of Mykonos done properly, and it is not pretending otherwise.
