Sundays only, from sunrise to early afternoon: the streets around Avissinias Square fill with stalls of vintage Greek ceramics, 19th-century photographs, old icons, lithographs, military pins, vinyl. Part tourist stall, part clear-out of family estates. Bargain, and pay cash. Skip the antique stalls on Pandrossou Street (a clear-out only of Hadrian’s Arch keychains); Avissinias is the one worth walking.
