Benaki Museum of Greek Culture

A collection tens of thousands of objects deep, from ancient Cycladic figurines to Byzantine icons, Ottoman-period textiles, and 19th-century War of Independence ephemera, in the Benaki family townhouse on the Kolonaki edge. The walk through post-classical Greek visual culture nobody else in the city does. The rooftop café has a small Acropolis view. Two hours is enough.
