Twelve sea-facing rooms in the main house, built by the grandparents in the 1950s and reworked by their grandson, owner, interior designer and architect Marco de Luca, all-in on nautical interiors: striped floors, red coral sculptures, vintage Italian magazines stacked in the lounge. Down the cliff path toward the harbor, a separate Vela Suite apartment runs as a hyper-exclusive independent tier. Run as a guesthouse rather than a hotel: the family makes the cakes for breakfast, the staff learn your name fast. There's a hidden staircase down to the fishing village below; most guests don't find it until day three.
