Hala says

An 1800s villa-and-lemon-orchard turned 9-room boutique, run by the great-grandchildren of Mariantonia. Anacapri's quiet side, away from the day-tripper churn. Capri without Capri Town pricing.

Run by the fourth generation of the same family; Alberto Moravia, Jean-Paul Sartre, Elsa Morante and Totò are among the literary and cultural figures the property names as having "broken bread" with Mariantonia and her descendants over the decades. The garden is the original lemon grove, still farmed; breakfast is served under it. Anacapri is the residential half of Capri: walkable, ten minutes by bus to Capri Town when you want it. Better food and fewer crowds than the grand Capri properties.
