A 1919 aristocratic villa on the private beach of the Bay of Mazzarò: Taormina's beach hotel, sister to the Grand Hotel Timeo above.
An early-20th-century villa (built 1919) on the Bay of Mazzarò, on the sea, with a private beach you can step onto from breakfast. Sister property to the Grand Hotel Timeo (the cliffside one). Pastel rooms, painted ceilings, English-garden landscaping, a small pool that runs into the beach. The Oliviero restaurant on the terrace is the meal: fresh fish, Sicilian wines, sunset over Isola Bella. A complimentary funicular takes you up to Taormina in three minutes. Open April through October.
