A restored 1800s estate 15 to 20 minutes by car from Noto, with terraced gardens, citrus groves and a 25-metre pool looking toward the sea, in the Val di Noto.

A 19th-century country house in the hills outside Noto, restored by the Lops family (who acquired the estate in 2009): terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, hand-painted majolica bathrooms, books in every public room. The land is the draw: olive groves, lemon trees, almonds, a long pool facing the Hyblaean hills. Eleven rooms only. Cooking classes use the kitchen garden. Approximately 15–20 minutes by car from Noto's centre, thirty-five from Ortigia. Renting a car is the most practical way to explore the Val di Noto, though the hotel can arrange private taxi transfers to and from Noto and local transport hubs on request. Open March through November.
