A seafood osteria in the Marina quarter. A small osteria on Via Sardegna in the Marina quarter, a few minutes from the port.

Footballer Gigi Riva ate here for decades; his table is still pointed out. Don't let that put you off; the kitchen is well run, the fish is from that morning, and the sea-urchin spaghetti (seasonally, typically Nov–mid-Apr) is the dish that turns Cagliari sceptics around. Fregola allo scoglio (Sardinia's couscous-meets-pasta with mixed shellfish) is the other order. Book a terrace table at sunset. Closed Mondays.
