A family-run pizza place off the old town. Wood oven, dough that's been resting since yesterday, prices that haven't caught up to the rest of the old town.
Small, family-run, on Via Don Deroma. Hot, loud, and you can watch the pizzaiolo tossing dough straight into the stone oven. Pizzas start around €7. They take walk-ins until they don't; by 8 p.m. in summer there's a line. Go at 7 when they open. The kids' table on the corner is the giveaway that this is where Alghero eats.
