A working farm in the hills above Nuoro: set-menu lunches and dinners, everything from their land, an antipasti parade that turns into a meal before the pasta arrives.
Località Testone, ten minutes out of Nuoro. Reservations recommended, set menu of around €40 per person including wine, and you finish it with one course untouched. Twelve antipasti rolling out family-style (smoked sausage, three pecorinos, ricotta, sa fregula incasada with broth, suppa cuata), then the pasta, then either lamb or porceddu, then seadas. You eat in a barn, and the family does most of the serving. This is what shepherds eat when they want to impress someone. Bring time.
