E-Bike the Appian Way

The original Roman road, largely car-free on Sundays, lined with pine trees and ancient tombs for miles. On an e-bike you cover serious ground without the effort — catacombs, the Circus of Maxentius, the tomb of Cecilia Metella. EcoBike Roma, the official park-services operator inside the Appia Antica gate, runs guided rides and rents by the hour; self-guided is fine if you know where you're going.
