A working family masseria deep in Primitivo country, a small, real, multi-generational version of the genre. The kitchen is its own reason to come.
A working farm (vineyards, olive trees, vegetable gardens) converted into rooms and apartments by the Tommasino family, who cook the dinners themselves; the early settlements on the site date to the late 11th century. Furniture is antique rather than antique-styled. The pool is set in the olive grove. Dinner is communal, multi-course, with wine from the family's own Primitivo.
