Hala says

In 2001 the Faggiano family started a plumbing repair in their townhouse and turned up 2,000 years of Lecce underneath it: Roman cisterns, medieval frescoes, a Knights Templar passageway, Messapian tombs. They made the whole building a privately run museum you walk self-guided in forty minutes. The owners are usually around and will fill in the details if you ask. Five euros, and one of the odder small museums you will walk into.
