Alvino is the city's living room. Stand-at-the-bar prices, or sit-down prices still reasonable for what you get, which is a perfect view of the Roman amphitheater unearthed in the middle of the piazza. Rustico (warm puff pastry filled with béchamel, mozzarella, and tomato) at 11 a.m. is the order. So is anything from the pastry case.
