The seats are on the stairs themselves: quirky, slightly precarious, and the sunset view people climb up for. The drinks aren't trying to be cocktails, they're aperitivi: Spritz, Negroni, Aperol with bitter, a glass of local rosato. Tapas-style snacks alongside. Get there an hour before sundown, claim a step, watch Ostuni turn pink.
