Borgo Egnazia
Sofia’s Pick· been in person, personally obsessed
A creamy-stone village built to look like it's been there for five hundred years. The Michelin-starred Due Camini, the Vair spa, three pools, two private beaches, golf, kids' club.
A 21st-century creation that looks ancient: a faux-historic Pugliese village in creamy tufo stone, built to imitation but on a scale and with a level of detail that almost works. The grounds are immense: three pools, two private beach clubs (one sandy, one rocky), a championship golf course, the Vair spa with a Roman-bath-style pool, Michelin-starred dining, a kids' club that legitimately runs all day. The room count is the trade-off; it never feels small. For families and big-trip energy.
