A restored medieval monastery and its hamlet in the Chianti countryside, near Siena. Castel Monastero runs as a wellness-led estate of about 68 rooms, suites and signature suites. The Contrada restaurant (the signature on the piazza, with Michelin Guide recognition) features the resort's seasonal program, with Gordon Ramsay involvement. Spa Monasterii does purifying spa treatments, yoga and meditation alongside the pools. Larger than Vicarello or Borgo Santo Pietro, with full-resort amenities, and Siena and Chianti within easy reach.
