A boutique hotel built around a 12th-century villa on a 300-acre Tuscan estate, owned and developed by Jeanette and Claus Thottrup. Twenty-two individually designed rooms and suites, antique furniture in every one. The kitchen (Saporium, with Florence-born executive chef Ariel Hagen) holds one Michelin Star and one Michelin Green Star, with the more casual Trattoria sull'Albero (a tree-house dining room around a spreading oak) on the estate. The on-site Seed to Skin laboratory (Jeanette Thottrup's botanical skincare line) grows ingredients for the spa and the product line. Three Michelin Keys 2025. About 40 minutes southwest of Siena.
